If you enter the house you would be surrounded by a wonderful shell themed interior. The main room has no corners – it is round. The upstairs bathroom sink is made out of the base of a conch shell, the faucets are made out of coral, the towel racks are made from conch shells

نشاهد بين الحين والآخر نماذج مدهشة لإبداع الفنانين في بناء المنازل، لكن تخيلوا كيف سيكون الحال لو صمم الفنان منزله بنفسه

فهذا المنزل المدهش الذي يشبه صدفة البحر ويقع على شاطئ البحر الكاريبي يعود للفنان الشهير أوكتافيو أوكامبو.

يقع هذا المنزل المدهش على جزيرة موخيريس في المكسيك، ويمتد على مساحة 5,500 قدم مربع يضم فيها غرفتي نوم وحمامين وبركة سباحة.

تم استخدام الإسمنت وبعض المواد التي أعيد تصنيعها في بناء المنزل، ولم يطبق المصمم فكرة الصدفة على الشكل الخارجي فقط، بل ينطبق ذلك على كل ركن من أركان المنزل من الداخل أيضاً!!

يتميز المنزل بجانب شكله العجيب بإطلالة ساحرة على البحر الكاريبي من كل نوافذه، ويستخدم أوكامبو المنزل في الإيجار أو لإقامة حفلات الزفاف.
